Shrimad Jnanendra Theertha Swamiji
Shrimad Jnanendra Theertha Swamiji stayed in Banaras’s Kashim Math. It was during his time a portion of the Matha which was in the custody of Ramesh Havaldar of Rajamandal and Vaikunta Shastri was handed over to the Matha.
It may be recalled that before this several failed attempts were made by Shrimad Raghavendra Theertha Swamiji to recover the land.
Once the portion was recovered Shrimad Jnanendra went to Kochi. From there he went to Nasik. In Nasik he attained Samadhi. The exact dates are not known however the records show that the end may have come between 1746 to 1773. He attained Samadhi when his Guru was still alive.
